The lock screen will also show at startup, and when you are signed out and idle for at least one minute.

Before I begin, heres some relevant details:
Software calcolo tfr free. I can transmit only get challenge instruction successfully. Im using pcsc sharp. I have some smart card (ISO 7816-4 support) but don't have the specification and omnikey reader.
Win2k + SP2
Geforce2MX, nVidia's 12.41 drivers (WHQL)
Philips CM1300 (17', max. refresh 85hz) - detected by Windows.
Being a big WinUAE fan, I've been trying to use PowerStrip to set up a 640x512 custom resolution (PAL Amigas use 320x256, but im using scanlines, so the screensize is doubled..) for getting the perfect emulation experience.
I've successfully added the resolution, and after a reset, PowerStrip still lists it, so its definately defined there in the registry. Unfortunately, it doesnt show up in the 'Screen Area' settings in the Win2k desktop panel, and more (probably related) doesnt appear in WinUAE's screen configuration panel.
I've tried everything! How can I 'enable' this custom resolution?
I think it might be related to the 'Hide modes this monitor does not support' check box in the the display--->Advanced--->Monitor config panel; this is ticked, and grayed over, thus preventing me from un-ticking it. Is there a regkey somewhere which controls the state of this option? And more importantly how can I unlock this checkbox? I've definately been able to freely enable/disable it in the past..but for some reason not anymore ;(
I stated above that Im using the 12.41 drivers. These are the WHQL ones, which I reckon might have something to do with it..so im currently downloading the non-WHQL release to see if this unlocks anything.
The employee non-disclosure agreement is a contract that allows an employer to protect themselves personally while also protecting their proprietary assets from being divulged to competitors or any third (3rd) party. This form restricts the employee from using any of the Confidential Information obtained from the employer for their own personal benefit. Post employment confidentiality agreement template.

After upgrading the drivers for my Intel graphics card I've come across a very annoying problem. As the thread title says, the box to untick to enable the monitor to display in resolutions that it does not support seems to be greyed out. There is no tick in it either when it is greyed out.
Why am I asking for this? Well my Packard Bell monitor can go up to 1152x864 @ 60Hz and although it is not documented at all in the features of the monitor, the computer seems to think it does not exist and only allows me to go up to 1024x768 @ 60Hz. I sometimes switch to 1152x864 when I view large web pages that do not fit at 800x600 or 1024x768 or need to review the pages of a large document.
I have tried downgrading but with no success as it is still greyed out.
How does one go about disabling this feature or forcing it to display all options?
I am running Windows 2000 SP4 and have a (puny) Intel graphics card.

- #2Try changing the monitor type to one specific to your monitor or try the PNP monitor type if you already have a specific one selected.
If you dont get any luck with that Powerstrip should do the job

I've tried to download the Windows XP drivers off the Packard Bell website, assuming that they would work on Windows 2000 (as 2000 is pretty much the same thing as Windows XP) and I am greeted with the message when I try and set it up..James wrote..

Error - This program requires Windows NT version 5.01.2600 or later.
The only other drivers on there are Windows 9x (95, 98 ME etc) which are useless on Windows 2000.

Perhaps they never shipped any machines with Windows 2000? Packard Bell is pretty much a home user only manufacturer and many of them didn't consider Windows 2000 to be a home user OS. It was only when Windows XP came out that they swapped.

But anyway, this excluding of certain OS's fom the drivers is stupid, since most drivers I have downloaded work on either Windows XP or 2000 without any problem.
I don't think I will be changing my configuration just to suit their 'ideals' of a home user (either using Windows XP or 9x). Although I do have a (questionable) copy of Windows XP I do not really use it that much because I do not fancy spending a few hours using those tweaking programs to hide or switchoff the annoying features on a new configuration. It takes up more memory and disk space too, the latter which I do not have much of. :mad:
